Agra to now keep track of ambulances
AGRA: In order to provide better and faster service to patients, the health department in Agra has started monitoring ambulances from the Community Health Centres (CHCs) in the district. The 45 (102) ambulances (for pregnant woman) and the 25 (108) ambulances (for accident victims), which are parked at various Community Health Centres (CHCs) in Agra, were earlier operated from Lucknow.

The CHCs will now maintain a record of patients, including their name, disease, contact, etc. They will also act against people responsible for any irregularity or laxity in ferrying the sick. CMO Agra Dr Mukesh Kumar Vatsa, said, “The ambulances will be monitored from the CHCs in Agra."
